Join us for the Lord's Day Worship

We are glad to have you join us in worship on the Lord's Day,  you will be greeted and welcomed with joy. Our Lord's Day worship is grounded in what Scripture commands as we glorify God together as a church body.

“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”  Romans 15:7 (ESV)

We welcome others not just out of friendliness, but because Christ welcomed us first. Our heart is to reflect His love and glorify Him in everything we do.

Family Friendly

We cherish the family and are rooted in Scripture's call to train all generations (Deut. 6:6-7). We're excited for you to consider being part of our church family. During our worship service, we offer care for infants and children. Your children will receive meaningful spiritual training from a team of caring and committed leaders.

All children are welcome to remain in the worship service with their family. Nursery care is available for infants through preschoolers throughout the service if needed. We also provide Children's Church for children starting at 3 years old to kindergarten age. 

Partway through the service, children are invited to the front for a special Children’s Sermon.

Please check in children attending Children’s Church or nursery at the Kids Ministry Check-In Station before the service begins.

Sermon

From the pulpit, you will hear sound expository preaching—where each sermon is centered on the meaning and message of a specific passage of Scripture. Our pastor aims to rightly handle the Word of God, explaining it clearly and applying it faithfully to our lives.

“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.”  2 Timothy 4:2 (ESV)

God’s Word is inerrant, infallible, and sufficient. Through verse-by-verse teaching, we grow in our knowledge of God, deepen our faith, and learn how to live in obedience to Him. In a culture full of noise and opinions, expository preaching helps us stay rooted in biblical truth. It's not just information, it’s formation, shaping our hearts and lives according to God's sovereign design.

Whether you're new to the Bible or a lifelong believer, you’ll find that the consistent teaching of Scripture brings clarity, conviction, and encouragement.

Biblical Teaching

At First Baptist Church of Fannett, we place a high priority on the teaching of God's Word. The Lord's Day is a time for us to come together as a covenant community to learn, grow, and be transformed by Scripture.

Beyond Sundays, we offer opportunities for discipleship, community, and spiritual growth as we seek to live out our faith together.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness...”  2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

The Bible is our final authority. Whether on Sundays or other gatherings, everything we teach is rooted in Scripture and aimed at making disciples of our Lord Jesus.
