First Baptist Church of Fannett KIDS

Reaching Hamshire-Fannett families, and encouraging them to grow His Kingdom in their own homes.

At Fannett Kids (Kinder–2nd Grade) , our mission is to partner with families in the Hamshire-Fannett community to help children grow in their love for God and His Word. Rooted in Luke 2:52, we desire to see every child “grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

We believe children are not just the future of the church, they are a vital part of it now. That’s why we offer age-appropriate Bible teaching, engaging activities, and intentional discipleship during:

  • Sunday Mornings: Children’s classes meet every Sunday at 9:30 AM during our Small Group hour. All kids and preteens begin upstairs together in a Large Group time, where they worship through fun, interactive songs, hear a Bible lesson, and pray together.

After Large Group, kids break into Small Group classes for deeper discussion and hands-on learning.

Our goal is to create a joyful, Christ-centered environment where children grow in their understanding of God’s Word and build meaningful relationships with caring leaders and peers.

  • Wednesday Nights: Our midweek discipleship includes Bible memory, worship, games, and small group time, helping kids hide God’s Word in their hearts and build lasting friendships. Our kids are in the "Scouts" club in Adventure club

Everything we do in Fannett Kids is designed to point children to Jesus, support parents, and build a foundation of lifelong faith.

The Way

Making disciples isn't just a one-time event it's a lifelong journey. It's what happens when we walk through life together, showing one another how to pray, study the Bible, grow in Christ, and lead others to Christ. Discipleship is about more than knowledge; it's about transformation. It’s about living out the gospel every day in our actions, words, and thoughts.

Jesus is the Way.

He is the way to the Father, the way of life, and the way to salvation. Jesus didn’t just tell us about the way; He lived the way. He came to show us how to live how to love, forgive, serve, and point others to Him. Following Jesus means more than just believing in Him; it means living as He lived, walking in His footsteps, and leading others to do the same.

Join Us This Summer as We Teach Our Young Church HOW TO BE A DISCIPLE.

This summer, we invite you to be part of an exciting journey where we teach our children the true meaning of discipleship. Every day, your child will step into the world of the Bible, where they will experience the life-changing stories and truths that shape our faith.

They will:

  • Craft meaningful projects that tie into the lessons, making Bible stories come to life.
  • Sing songs that teach and celebrate the gospel, helping them internalize key truths.
  • Hear Scripture being told in engaging ways that encourage deep understanding.
  • Learn Hebrew Words to connect with the original language of the Bible, helping them appreciate the roots of our faith.
  • Leave each day with the tools they need to share the message of Jesus with others. By the end of the week, your child will have a clear understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what He did for us and they’ll be ready to share that truth with others.

This isn’t just about learning facts; it’s about growing in faith and being equipped to live out that faith in the world around us.

Held in July | 6:00–8:30 PM
