Our Preteen Ministry is designed specifically for 3th–5th graders, students who are growing up fast and need strong biblical truth, authentic community, and a place where they belong. We believe these years are critical for spiritual growth, and our goal is to help preteens build a lasting faith in Jesus through discipleship, fun, and real-life connection.

We believe children are not just the future of the church, they are a vital part of it now. That’s why we offer age-appropriate Bible teaching, engaging activities, and intentional discipleship during:

  • Sundays at 9:30 AM
    Preteens meet for age-specific Bible study that helps them explore God’s Word and apply it to their lives. It’s a space where questions are welcome, friendships grow, and truth is taught clearly and faithfully.
  • Wednesdays at 6:00 PM (During the School Year)
    Preteens are part of Trailblazers, our upper elementary group within Adventure Club, a discipleship program focused on Scripture memory, understanding biblical doctrine, and growing in Christ. It's fun, engaging, and deeply rooted in truth.

As preteens grow, they also get to step into more of our youth-style activities—including Summer Midweek and Summer Camp experiences that help them grow in community and confidence.

  • Summer Midweek (June–July): Wednesdays from 10 AM–12 PM with games, Bible study, and connection.
  • Summer Camp: A summer discipleship event created just for preteens, with worship, small groups, and team-building fun.
  • Mission HF: Preteens (5th grade) have a unique opportunity to be part of Mission HF, our student-led Backyard Bible Club outreach, not just as participants, but as helpers and leaders in training.

Everything we do in Fannett Preteens is designed to point children to Jesus, support parents, and build a foundation of lifelong faith.

Adventure Club

A fun, Scripture-rich discipleship program for kids age 3 through 5th grade.

Adventure Club is a high-energy, truth-packed weekly program designed to help kids grow in their understanding of God’s Word and build a strong foundation of faith that will last a lifetime. With engaging lessons, fun games, Scripture memory, and Christ-centered teaching, kids will learn not just Bible stories—but the truth about who God is and how to live as His followers.

The Way

Making disciples isn't just a one-time event it's a lifelong journey. It's what happens when we walk through life together, showing one another how to pray, study the Bible, grow in Christ, and lead others to Christ. Discipleship is about more than knowledge; it's about transformation. It’s about living out the gospel every day in our actions, words, and thoughts.

Jesus is the Way.

He is the way to the Father, the way of life, and the way to salvation. Jesus didn’t just tell us about the way; He lived the way. He came to show us how to live how to love, forgive, serve, and point others to Him. Following Jesus means more than just believing in Him; it means living as He lived, walking in His footsteps, and leading others to do the same.

Join Us This Summer as We Teach Our Young Church HOW TO BE A DISCIPLE.

This summer, we invite you to be part of an exciting journey where we teach our children the true meaning of discipleship. Every day, your child will step into the world of the Bible, where they will experience the life-changing stories and truths that shape our faith.

They will:

  • Craft meaningful projects that tie into the lessons, making Bible stories come to life.
  • Sing songs that teach and celebrate the gospel, helping them internalize key truths.
  • Hear Scripture being told in engaging ways that encourage deep understanding.
  • Learn Hebrew Words to connect with the original language of the Bible, helping them appreciate the roots of our faith.
  • Leave each day with the tools they need to share the message of Jesus with others. By the end of the week, your child will have a clear understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what He did for us and they’ll be ready to share that truth with others.

This isn’t just about learning facts; it’s about growing in faith and being equipped to live out that faith in the world around us.

Preteen Camp

Summer Camp is the ultimate experience for kids to grow in their faith, make new friends, and have the time of their lives. From powerful worship and Bible-centered teaching to zip lines, swimming, games, and late-night laughs—this week is packed with adventure and gospel truth.

Camp is more than just fun—it’s a time for kids to step away from distractions, hear from God, and take the next step in their walk with Jesus. Whether it's their first time or fifth, camp is where real faith becomes real life.

What’s Included:

  • Lodging, meals, transportation, and all activities
  • Small group time, cabin devotionals, and daily worship
  • Christ-centered teaching tailored to their age group
  • Tons of outdoor fun, water games, and team challenges

Summer Midweek

Wednesdays in June & July – Midweek Fun with an Eternal Focus

Summer Midweek is a weekly gathering for kids, preteens, and students to stay connected, grow in faith, and enjoy time together during the summer break. Each Wednesday is packed with games, worship, teaching, and themed fun—all designed to point kids to Jesus while giving them a safe space to build friendships and memories.

Schedule:

  • Preteens (4th–6th Grade): 10:00 AM–12:00 PM

  • Bible devotions and real conversations about faith
  • Fun games, water days, and themed activities
  • A place to belong all summer long
