Small Group Classes

Because we weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone.

At First Baptist Church Fannett, we believe life is better, and stronger, when lived in biblical community. Our Small Group Classes (also known as Sunday School) are where meaningful relationships are formed, Scripture is studied deeply, and real-life discipleship happens.

Every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, groups for all ages gather across our campus to grow together in faith. From the nursery to senior adults, there’s a place for everyone to belong, learn, and be encouraged. These groups aren’t just classes, they’re communities where you’re known, loved, and challenged to walk faithfully with Jesus.

Why Small Groups Matter

Jesus Himself modeled relational discipleship. He walked closely with a small group of followers, teaching them, praying with them, and preparing them to live on mission. We follow that example by creating spaces where believers can grow together in God’s Word and encourage one another in daily life.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom..."
Colossians 3:16

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."
Acts 2:42

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together...”
Hebrews 10:24–25

Small Groups are where the large church becomes personal, where faces become friends and faith becomes family.
